Changchun Corn Industry Park was established in October 2005 which is situated within Xionglong mountain-southwest-northeast industry axes in Changchun City . It is the main battlefield to start a new undertaking for CETDZ. The planning area of the garden is 61.3 square kilometers. Based on their functions, they could be divided into core zone, low river chemical engineering zone, storage zone, resident zone, and commercial zone, R&D zone for high-new technology industry and public service zone. Focused on corn chemical engineering alcohol technology of Dacheng Group, it will sufficiently make use of food supplies such as corn in Jilin Province as a priority, for about 10 years, it will make itself the first producing, processing center for synthetic fiber, engineering plastic and ecological plastic and processing center for fine chemical products by mainly using corn as raw materials. At last, it will be built into the largest light spinning and weaving industry base, cornchemical engineering base and deep processing base of farming products in China with industry value of output exceeding a hundred billion Yuan which could process a quantity of 8,000,000 ton corn.
