The total investment on fixed assets in CETDZ has reached RMB27.5 billion Yuan, within the scope of 30 s.q. kilometers, “nine-smoothness, one-flatness” has been realized in the Development Zone, there are such complete production and living facilities as office buildings, customs house, schools, hospitals, Changchun International Convention & Exhibition Center, stadium and garden-styled residential quarters, which can fully meet the demands of the investors from China and foreign countries. At the same time, CETDZ has created the first-class soft environment for investment so as to open up a “green passage” for the enterprises, and has set up “request center for construction of soft environment”. In 2002, CETDZ smoothly passed certification for ISO 14001 environment management system, and has gained the EMS certificate issued by Huaxia Certification Center, and the international UKAS certificate issued by British Royal Acceptance Commission, it indicates that the environment management of CETDZ has been connected to the international tracks, and the investment environment conforming to the international operation rules has been constructed.
